2017 Women's Heart Health Awareness Luncheon
Our Women’s Heart Health Awareness Luncheon was a huge success! 109 guests attended to hear Dr. David Major, a cardiologist with CaroMont Heart, share lifesaving information about women and heart disease. The Salvation Army and Advanced Home Care were co-sponsors. Andrea Turpin Farris, Lauren Farris and Rachel Hibberts donated Mary Kay lipgloss samples for all the ladies. Daughtry Hopper, Director of Community Impact & Resource Development for United Way of Gaston County served as the emcee, making all of the ladies feel so welcome. Thanks to the support of numerous people, more than 100 ladies had the opportunity to learn about how lifestyle impacts cardiovascular risk.
